What is Html? Can Anybody explain? Please..

Html stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. It is the presentation language for websites. The code in html is usually in form of tags. it can be executed in any internet browser as we can see any website. html is considered as an output data that is to be presented on clients (means visitor's) internet browser. These Internet browser works with protocol HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol). With the help of this protocol browser can display html pages. Html Tags just decides how the presentation (looks) of the websites should be and no decesion control can be done in html.

To enhance website with such decesion controls we have to use server side programming languages like php, asp, jsp, perl etc. These programs are executed on servers giving output as a html tags which are executed on clients web browser on request.
